Summer fling dont mean a thing

Been a disappointing holiday so far. Let me highlight the emphasis on "SO FAR".
Europe in only 6 days!

I cant remember being more for anything! Well okay, I remember being this excited for my Los Angeles trip a year ago :D

Going back to why the holidays are disappointing so far, is because everyone is busy like hell. Working, family problems/commitments, army. Well, I did manage to keep myself busy most days hanging out with who over is free, working short jobs and gymming. And the other days Im just keeping up with all the mini series I follow :)
Wish I could've spent more time with my bros though. I dont ever want us to grow apart :(

Life in the fast lane surely makes you lose your mind

Best Singapore Grand Prix yet.

All thanks to my sister, who's working communications at RedBull Singapore, managed to score me Premium Walkabout passes all 3 days. On top of that a VIP pass to the Paddock where I had full access to the drivers. and to the pit garage! :D
Spotted so many prominent figures in F1 racing. besides the racers, there was Jessica Michibata, Sir Jackie Stewart, Paula Malai, Steve Slater, and a guy I thought looked like Djimon Hounsou. But its probably not him haha. Race was definitely action packed. But since I had premium walkabout tickets, I spent most of the race roaming the track and following the race at every big-screen along the way. Bumped into loads of friends too working for F1.. oh boy does F1 pay well.

Followed the RedBull singapore team to Velvet Underground to celebrate Vettel's victory, and then club-hopped to Neverland. pretty sick night. Got really tipsy after velvet cause they had loads of free shots and I was on an empty stomach :( I sobered up pretty quick though luckily, and I REFUSED a lap dance by some Taiwanese girl. Seriously.

Thinking back now, why did I refuse that dance.. fuuucckkkkk

Who is gonna make it, we'll find out in the long run

Its been pretty long since my last post,.. I blame it all purely on laziness. No more excuses like no time, procrastinating and 'nothing to post about'

Lets see, its been an exhilarating week. Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix, Clubbing, and working with one of my best friends I've known for 12 years. Working with Afiq was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had since my working stints with Jon and Eugene. We talked and joked about everything under the stars, reminisced, and was even 'educated' by our new friend Raja Kannan about sex. We nicknamed him Kanna the Sextarian. haha. good times.

Been working tremendously hard to earn that extra buckaroos so then I can spend more when im in Europe. My DSLR already cost me over 1500 bucks. So im a little cash strapped now :(

We can handle some resistance if our love is a strong one

Its a little like Wong Fu Weekends?

okay Im just gonna make a little post now cause its still slightly more than an hour till the ManUtd - Spurs game.

Stuff Gadget Magazines Event at Club Avatar was off the hook! I mean free flow of drinks -not only house pours but very good mixes-, club filled with models, and not to mention the go-go dancers! hahaha

My sis, who works at RedBull Singapore, got us some VIP passes :D
Wont really go through the details for the night, but I got to take a picture with the pretty Dawn Yang (:
She has outrageously fair skin complexion! and in that short conversation I had with her she seemed really nice and sweet. [okay don't judge me]. Managed to get loads of photos, will upload it all into the Photo section after im done with my exams.

A couple days after, had a terrible studying session with Leyon. Totally fell asleep reading my notes at Terminal 3's Macdonalds. Extremely disappointing really.. and so was that pepper Mcgrill.. revolting!
After that I left to meet Sophia and Shaun for mass at Holy Trinity Church. If any of you guys heard the gospel this week, it was about whether people go to church out of obligation(forced to) or whether they go because they really wanted to. Its something to think about for a lot of people. I know loads of friends who are going to church for all the wrong reasons Keep the faith guys #Believe

I go to TRL look how many hugs I get

So just a couple of days ago I was at a bar, with some bros, and we decided to order Martini's. This sorry sod (around my age), clearly drunk, walks over to me and says "Martini's are for girls, why don't you man up and order beers".

what the hell

So a guy drinking a Martini is not manly? yet a guy drinking a beer constitutes being manly?
Since when is your manhood judged on what you drink or what you eat? I for one hate beer. I absolutely hate it.. It bloats you up so fast everything else you drink tastes like crap. Not to mention you grow a flabby gut, get drunk faster, and puke your insides out! oh yes.. very manly I see.

Ever heard this line? "eat your meat son, so you can grow strong like your daddy" (my dad actually does say that haha)
- I mean you don't go around picking on male vegans saying they're less of a man because they don't eat meat. Nor do you go to guys who don't gym and say they're not tough enough to be considered a 'man'. Do you really think those ah peks or ah bengs at the coffee shops downing beer are real men? Do you really think wannabes at clubs chugging beer are real men?

Any ways, I looked this sad case in the eye and told him to jog on. I mean,.. it wasn't necessary to spoil my night over some drunk cunt thinking he's a seasoned alcoholic. Soon enough however he threw up all over himself. Real man indeed.
Last laugh belongs to me buddy

Nani Nani.. Nani Nani.. Heyyy Heyyyyeehhh.. Nani Nani

Yep. Football season is back, kicked off with the Community shield between Manchester United and Manchester 'Shitty'.
I went down with some buddies to Durty Nellys Irish Pub, which is the official venue for all Manchester United games this season, to catch the match. It was extremely frustrating watching 'Shitty' lead at half-time, 0-2 when United deserved to be 5-0 up.
Well us fans never gave up hope and cheered our team on with gusto, singing song after song. The night ended with United prevailing 3-2 through a Chris Smalling goal and 2 fantastic strikes fron Nani. The title Comeback Kings is truly ours!. Great night, great company. GGMU.

I took my time, I hurried up

29/7/11.

Probably a date to remember. Passed my manual driving test on my first try, after only 19 lessons (26 lesson for the average man). And the great thing is my dad is pretty happy to let me drive around, he's just afraid that I might pick up some friends and forget myself. God im afraid that happens too.

You say you got a resolution, well you know..

Well, its project submission week!

I think my groupmates are pretty dynamic. Efficient and Effective. We managed to get our shit together, collate everything, edit and put the finishing touches on our projects. This day probably marks the end of a load of stress Ive been having for weeks now. I can finally focus on my tutorials and my other endeavours.

All thats left is Presentations and the MS project. OH Yeah... ! and the damn Final Skid for my theatre class -I play a Bartender with anger issues-. carries a 40% weight-age so I gotta focus a lot on that.

Other than that. Next week will officially be the end of all projects and presentations :D

Driving's been pretty sucky lately. Gonna attribute my shitty driving to high stress levels lol. Hopefully pass the stupid test first time cause my pride depends on it haha. FIRST TIME!! CMON!!

It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right. I hope you had the time of your life.

Saturday July 16. Cass' 21st Birthday. Man was it a little tense in the morning. Nothing went right, planning was absolute crap. Yet the day was fulfillingly awesome.
Got to USS early in the morning to get a jump start on our day. Immediately ran to the Battlestar Galactica Human ride. It was a pretty decent roller-coaster but TAME compared to the Cylon. Mummy ride was pretty good too! went on it 5 times with Eugene taking full advantage of the single-rider queue (while Cass, Danny and Travis went to watch the waterworld show). By noon we were massively hungry,.. So headed for the turkey leg stand and to the Pizza restaurant. Turkey leg was exquisite., but nothing compared to the ones in the US. Played loads of mini games that helped loads to burn time while queuing. Managed to ride the Cylon a couple more times, and the Madagascar boat crap before we had to leave for Keppel Club for the Dinner buffet party. We didnt really get to do many other rides because of that little time we had, but we made the most of our time-even managed to cam whore everywhere haha(pictures up soon)-

Buffet Dinner was especially special with all the extended family and all Cass' friends coming to celebrate her 21st. Location was near perfect, food was really great and company even better. After cutting cake and more celebrations, everyone headed back to the crib for more drinking and games(the old school truth or dare). Since the party was partially sponsored by RedBull, there was free flow of redbull and enough vodka to go around. I could say after a few games the dares started to get a little.. well dare-ry. I got kissed by Danny wearing lipstick,.. Clara had to prank call someone, selling herself, and the birthday girl had to french kiss Danny! load of small talk followed and I completely crashed on the couch.
Woke up the next day around 2pm with a stomach ache lmao. Dont think anyone threw up, but im very sure there were bad hangovers.
